Tinubu treated Ndi-Igbo unfairly by appointing five ministers. – Ohaneze Laments

The South-East was given five ministerial openings by President Bola Tinubu, which has angered the Ohanaeze Ndigbo sociocultural organization.continue ReadingĀ

The amount, according to Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, is unfair and discriminatory.

Iwuanyanwu claimed in a statement on Thursday that the South-East was underserved since there were only five states there, compared to at least six in other zones.

Iwuanyanwu claimed that the circumstance had left the South-East in a hazardous political, economic, and social position. He wished for justice and fairness.

Remember that the military administrations were responsible for creating the states and geopolitical zones. Sincere Nigerians are aware that the Igbo had little to do with this endeavor.

“As a result, the South-East only received five states, whereas other zones received at least six. The South-East is now in an extremely challenging situation on all frontsā€”politically, economically, and socially.

“We have fewer senators and representatives in the House of Representatives, as well as fewer governors, members of the House of Assembly, and municipal governments.

“In the distribution of federal funds, the South-East is denied the funds derived from the states. We receive a purposeful disservice in the distribution of resources and appointments to government boards.

We would want to point out that the current administration was not to blame for this scenario, but we nevertheless request His Excellency, Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to assist us in resolving the issue and restoring justice, equity, and Fairness in Nigeria.
