An online video of renowned Nigerian musician Wizkid paying tribute to his late mother on stage has surfaced again, stirring up strong feelings.
According to Bendelnews, Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, just lost his original mother to death.
Wizkid’s mother, Mrs. Balogun, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, about 1:30 PM. Sunday Aare, Wizkid’s longtime manager, confirmed the incident to Gistlover, stating that Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the singer’s mother, passed away early on Friday.
