The football coach is accused of inviting the victim over the phone to his house in Oke-Aro, Akure, the state capital, before performing the horrible act there.

After the bodies weren’t discovered at her home on Saturday, the suspect was found there and taken into custody.

Speaking about his ex-lover’s passing, Bankole disclosed that the victim had begged for financial support from him and that he had told her to come to his house to receive the money.

He asserts that after offering her cocaine when she turned around, she slumped, prompting him to pour her hot water out of worry in an effort to revive her.

He claimed that after all attempts to revive her failed, he secreted the dead body by hacking out her intestines in a fit of fear.

Bankole admitted that he had tied the hands of the body to hide it.

When questioned about his plans for the intestines, he replied, “I wanted to put it in a bag.”
