The body of Dr. Vwaere Diaso, who died in an elevator accident at the Lagos General Hospital on Tuesday, August 1, has been laid to rest.
This was disclosed on her Twitter account on Tuesday by her sister, who went by the name of Ese.
“Today my sister was buried,” she wrote. The suffering that my family and I am through is unbearable. Vwaere is more than simply another depressing example of how the Nigerian government has failed its citizens and continues to do so, in the eyes of a great many people. She was a diligent worker who helped others and was also our dockie, daughter, grandchild, sister, partner, friend, and niece.
“We want her to be remembered as the lovely, diligent, devoted, selfless, compassionate, and wise lady she was.
Even though you are no longer present with us physically, we will always remember you in our hearts. I’m grateful for all the wonderful memories. We shall always treasure them.
“We would want to express our gratitude to everyone who came to her burial today. We appreciate your kindness and support during this trying time. Currently resting is Vwaere.
