Nathasha-Akpoti Shares Photos Of Injuries She Got During Auto Crash
The Kogi Central Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25th general election, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Vaughan was on Friday involved in a motor accident along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
The accident occurred while she was on her way to Okehi, her country home in preparation for the Sunday governorship primary in Kogi state.
According to her Personal Assistant, Lamidi Hamza, her Sports Utility Vehicle hit a curb on the road, causing injury to her.
Giving an update days after the incident, on Instagram, she wrote;
“To God be all glory, I survived another accident on Friday the 14th of April 2023 along Abuja- Lokoja highway.
“Many thanks to the diligent staff of FMC Lokoja who swiftly stabilised me and organised my transfer to another facility in Abuja.
“But for a few stitches on my face and crack on a bone; I should be up and about soonest.
“Driver is unhurt, thankfully saved by the airbag.
“For all it’s worth to mention… is the love and prayers from family, friends and well-wishers which are deeply appreciated.”
This comes weeks after Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan filed a tribunal challenging the results of her senatorial election.
