According to a statement released on Saturday and signed by Mr.dot Kolapo Alimi, the state’s commissioner for information and public education, who leads a government that promotes religious harmony and unity among followers of different faiths, Osun State’s governor, Ademola Adeleke, approved the holiday.
Alimi continued and asked Isese devotees to uphold peace during their festivities.”I have the honor and privilege of extending the congratulations and best wishes of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, to all traditional religion worshipers in Osun State on the occasion of this year’s 2023 Isese Day celebrations, which take place tomorrow, August 20, 2023.
