”From the blues” President Bola Tinubu, according to Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is not qualified to lead Nigeria because of its size.

On Thursday, August 17, Ganduje, who assumed the position of sixth party chairman on August 3 during a political gathering at the national secretariat in Abuja, said this. He maintained that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president, is qualified to lead the nation.

In order to support his claims, Ganduje, who omitted to name any members of “the blues” who competed for the coveted position of president in the most recent general elections, cited Tinubu’s prior roles as governor of Lagos State.

“Our principal is the ideal candidate for mounting the position of national leadership that we have been searching for. Before, he was successful in accomplishing it. People must be evaluated based on their background, C.V., and attitude toward leadership; you cannot simply help those who are struggling.

For that, Nigeria is too big. Asiwaju is an institution-builder who is well-known for doing so. We have sustainability in Lagos State because of this. Not because he served as governor for 20 years, but rather because he created the framework for sustainability, Lagos State is sustainable.

One of Nigeria’s and Africa’s largest states today is Lagos. We backed him because we want Nigeria to be a replica of that kind of sustainability. Asiwaju can do the job.

To advance Nigeria, he would implement reforms in the political system, the institutions, the economy, and the social and economic conditions. We are confident that he will significantly alter Nigeria.He spoke
