Remember how the president hired Jim Obazee to serve as a Special Investigator to look into the CBN’s operations and those of other affiliated organizations?
According to Tinubu’s letter dated July 28, the appointment of Obazee was based on the main objective stated in Section 15(5) of the Nigerian Constitution and marked a significant advancement in his administration’s anti-corruption drive.
In a letter dated August 18 and addressed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Obazee, who is to report directly to the president, asked the deployment of four senior officers to his office to help with the efficient start and completion of his duty.
In retaliation, the IGP gave Obazee permission in a letter titled “Deployment of Police Personnel” that was dated September 6 and was signed on his behalf by CP Abaniwonda S. Olufemi.
The number TH:5361/FS/FHQ/ABJ/T is a letter. According to document 5/428, the deployed officers were DCP Eloho Edwin Okpoziakpo, CSP Celestine Odo, CSP Segun Aderoju, and DSP Tijani A. Bako.
DCP Eloho Edwin Okpoziakpo is leading the team, which has already begun gathering basic intelligence and is giving the CBN and NIRSAL’s top management staff the willies.

However, he stopped short of revealing more, stating that he would only do so if NIRSAL Was given a written request.
