The governor’s press secretary, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said in a statement that the commissioners were chosen from a variety of professions and were experts in several fields of endeavor.

The chief justice of Zamfara State, Justice Kulu Aliyu, administered the oaths of office to the newly chosen commissioners.

In the news release, it is said that “Governor Dauda Lawal tasked the newly inaugurated commissioners to double their efforts because they would be assessed by the Key performance index (KPIs).”

To progress the development and expansion of Zamfara State, Lawal recommended the commissioners to collaborate with ministries and build effective working ties with them.
