Woman in Rivers arrested after abusing her son repeatedly.

Harrison Gwamnishu, a human rights campaigner, announced this last night on his Instagram page. On Sunday, July 30, he claimed to have received a complaint on his Facebook page and responded right away. 

‘’Our Rivers State Team, commanded by Comrade Adebayo Steve, sprang into action this evening in response to a child abuse allegation that was filed on Facebook. Mariam Stephen, 37, was quickly taken into custody for repeatedly assaulting her son Convenant.

She is being held in custody at Special Area Rumukoro Police Station in Portharcourt and will be charged in court as soon as the inquiry is over.
