Tiktoker, Ego was given a 2-year prison term for calling Eniola Badmus a pimp.

A Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced the Tiktoker to two years in prison after his arraignment today, August 2.

Blessing Nwakego was given two counts of cyberstalking in court. It was alleged that between December 2022 and July 2023 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of the honorable court, she and a person named Chimabia, who is still at large, “connived to commit felony to wit: cyberstalking and thus committed an offense punishable under section 27 of the cybercrimes (prohibition, prevention, etc. act 2015.”

As per the court’s order, she was found guilty on all counts and given a year in prison with the potential of a N50,000 fine on count one.

She received a two-year prison term and a N100,000 fine for count two. While the jail periods must be concurrent, the succeeding terms must be consecutive.

Unsurprisingly, Ego opted for the latter, citing online reports that said she had consented to pay the N150k fine in exchange for her release.
