Human rights advocate Sowore Omoyele has encouraged Nigerians seeking justice for Mohbad to not accept the police’s words at face value.

After receiving multiple calls from Nigerians seeking the artist’s justice, the police released a statement addressing the concerns surrounding Mohbad’s premature death and the various stories regarding the artist.

Additionally, the police sent their condolences to Mohbad’s family, friends, and supporters and assured Nigerians that they would “diligently investigate” the circumstances surrounding his passing.

However, it may be inferred that human rights advocate Sowore Omoyele is not satisfied with the police’s assurance given that he advised Nigerians not to believe the police findings.

“I’m sorry if anyone thinks @PoliceNG will conduct even a “diligent” inquiry into this case when the perpetrators are their henchmen and criminal accomplices.
