Quick-Thinking Barman Branded ‘Hero’ After Helping Girls With Note Disguised As Receipt
A bartender has gone above and beyond to help two customers who were dealing with an uncomfortable situation, and his quick thinking led to him being hailed as a “hero”.
Customer Trinity and her pal were being harassed by a man at a bar, and the situation didn’t go unnoticed by caring bartender Max Gutierrez.
In a move so subtle others looking on would have had no idea, Max slipped the two women a note which read: “If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder, and I will have him removed. He’s giving ME the CREEPS.”
Taking to Twitter to share a snap of the note, Trinity – who goes by the username @trinityallie – wrote: “This man was harassing me and my friend, and the bartender passed this note to me acting like it was my receipt! Legit the type of bartender everyone needs.”
She continued to say: “He ended up having to literally yell at the guy he said, ‘you need to get tf away from these girls who clearly are not interested’ and the dude said ‘that was a little aggressive’, and he said ‘well you’re aggressively hitting on them and you need to leave”.
A number of Trinity’s followers were left impressed with the no-nonsense way Max had handled the situation, ensuring that the two young women felt safe and supported.
One person approved: “Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear Hawaiian shirts.”
Another applauded: “Bravo sir, way to protect your patrons. Bartenders take note this is customer service at its finest.”
To the delight of many, Trinity and Max have since reunited, and Max himself has come forward to tell his side of the story.
