NBA superstar LeBron James has been photographed leaving for the hospital where his 18-year-old son Bronny is receiving care after collapsing and having a cardiac arrest on July 24.
On Monday morning, Bronny became ill during practise and was taken from USC’s Galen Centre to the hospital. He was recently discharged from intensive care and is currently in a stable condition.
James, 38, was seen wearing a mask as he arrived at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.
The stunning discovery has left Lakers star James “scared and devastated,” according to a Tuesday morning article from DailyMail.
A 911 call was received at 9.26am on Monday, and Bronny, who had just committed to the Trojans, was taken directly to the hospital in an ambulance.
It is assumed that the incident was a Code 3, which denotes the gravity of the call and necessitates ambulance lights and sirens.
The James family released the following statement on Tuesday: “Bronny James experienced a heart arrest yesterday while practising. Bronny was able to receive medical attention and be transported to the hospital. He is presently stable and out of the intensive care unit.
On Tuesday, Bronny received well wishes from Damar Hamlin, the Buffalo Bills safety who experienced an on-field cardiac collapse during an NFL game.
