The singer, whose true name was Promise Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, is shown in the pictures with facial wounds.
At the age of 27, Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12. The next day, he was buried at Ikorodu in accordance with Islamic customs.
According to Mohbad’s close friends, he was allegedly beaten multiple times after leaving Naira Marley’s Marlian Music owing to an internal conflict and accusations of assault before his untimely death.
Sam Larry, a prominent socialite in Lagos and a close friend of Naira Marley, has come under fire for allegedly attacking the late musician when he was still alive.
Today, Larry disabled his Instagram account after being charged with repeatedly beating musician Mohbad prior to his untimely demise.
The circumstances behind Mohbad’s death are currently being looked into by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
