Abiodun Oluwadamilare, Rebecca’s fiancé, and they planned to wed on August 19, 2023, in Ogbomosho, Oyo State. But on August 20, she passed away in the hospital.
Rebecca, a Federal University of Technology (FUT) alumna, reportedly enjoyed her bridal shower on August 18 with her friends. Tragically, at 10:30 p.m., she passed out during the party.
As soon as she arrived at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso, medical staff was able to revive her. Sadly, her condition did not get better, and she passed away early on Sunday.
The groom and his family had traveled from Abeokuta, according to the deceased’s sister-in-law, who spoke to Ogbomoso Online on Wednesday at their home in the Caretaker area. “Everything was set by Friday; the cows had been slaughtered and the meat fried; every necessary preparation was made.
