In a leaked audio conversation, Mr. Joseph Aloba is heard offering defenses for why his son’s former boss shouldn’t be held accountable for the musician’s death.
Despite their conflict, Mr. Joseph argued that his late son and Naira Marley have no motive to hurt him.
He continued by claiming that the few times the Marlian group had attacked Mohbad were simply for show, to make him look more senior, because his ears were shut.
“Naira just displayed his rank. He was unable to hear because of obstructions. I was given his phone number by Naira a year ago, but I haven’t been able to get through to him. Naira is not a nasty person or the kind who would kill him; he simply demonstrated who is in charge, he said.
