According to Bendelnews, the nation generated N781.35 billion from VAT in Q2 2023, an increase of 10.11% from N709.59 billion in Q1.
For the first half of 2023, this resulted in combined VAT earnings of N1.490 trillion.
Manufacturing accounted for the top three most significant sectoral shares in Q2 2023, followed by information and communication with 21.19%, financial and insurance activities with 11.18%, and manufacturing with 29.64%.
