It was learned that the attack on Sunday, August 13, 2023, caused fear in the community and that residents fled into bushes, including members of the monarch’s family.
Punch claims that the assailants tossed explosives into the mansion, setting the home, the parked cars in the courtyard, and other possessions on fire.
A villager who spoke to the newspaper under the condition of anonymity claimed that the arsonists burned properties worth millions of naira.
People are currently hiding in the bushes after unidentified gunmen entered HRH’s palace, Eze Ikenolu, the Eze of Ndia Iche Arondizuogu.
Henry Okoye, a spokesman for the State Police Command, verified the occurrence.
He declared, “Frantic efforts are in full swing to apprehend the arsonists and bring them to justice.”
