The coalition of Oyo State Youth Council and youth organization has congratulated the re-elected Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, on his recent victory at the polls.
The coalition, which is made up of various youth groups across the state, issued a statement in which they praised the governor for his leadership and commitment to the development of the state.
According to the statement, the youths expressed their appreciation for the governor’s efforts in areas such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, which they believe have had a positive impact on the lives of the people of Oyo State.
They also commended the governor for his inclusive governance style and for providing opportunities for young people to participate in the state’s development agenda.
The coalition further pledged its support to the governor and his administration, stating that they would continue to work with the government to ensure that the state remains on the path of progress and development. They also urged other youths in the state to emulate the governor’s leadership style and to actively participate in the state’s development process.
While commending the governor for his efforts during Omituntun 1.0, the members of the coalition of youths in Oyo State reinstated the importance of youth participation in governance and development processes, highlighting the need for inclusive governance that takes into account the needs and aspirations of all segments of society in Omituntun 2.0
