AIT CEO, Raymond Dokpesi reportedly arrested in UK

Police officers have arrested Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the CEO of DAAR Communications Limited, owners of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM in United Kingdom.

According to reports, Dokpesi was arrested last Sunday while traveling to the United Kingdom.

He boarded Lufthansa Flight LH916 from Frankfurt to London and was later picked up at Terminal 2 of Heathrow Airport in London.

The report quoted a source on board as saying:

“We were on the flight from Frankfurt to London and when we were about to arrive in London, we were told that we should all sit down when the plane landed and the police i want do something.

We were informed that a police operation will be carried out.

“So when we landed, the police came in and asked him who Raymond Dokpesi was, and they took him away.

He is wearing an agbada.

He was arrested in London.”
