A war within our subregion is a war between brothers; El-Rufai cautions ECOWAS to refrain from military actions.

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has been forewarned by Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna state, against military action in the Niger Republic. 

El-Rufai stated that there should be no “civil war” between brothers because the people of the Niger Republic and Northern Nigeria are same.
