The “National Strategic Committee” of the PDP New Generation is using this opportunity to congratulate the Governor Elect (Osun state) in person of Sen. Ademola Adeleke for putting up a good fight to re-claim his stolen mandate.

The Story of the Osun elections will not be complete without recognizing the effort of the Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, the PDP National Chairman Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, other PDP governors and the PDP New generation members, most especially “Davido” in Osun state.

The victory of the PDP in Osun state did not come as a surprise to us as the “OSUN FOR ADELEKE” campaign launched by the PDP New Generation Youth Osun Guber Campaign Council were able to tour all the local governments, wards, and unit. The tour furnished us with firsthand DATA on how popular the PDP is among households in Osun state.

From inception, Osun has passed through economical, political, infrastructural, social and cultural developmental stages as a state. the good citizens of Osun have showed the power of their PVC and have made sure that Osun gets the leadership it deserves. They refused to sell their votes for “peanuts” despite being enticed by the ruling party. This act of courage is one that every Nigerian should imbibe.

This triumph is strategic because it has justified that Nigerians are tired of the APC Government. Citizens have realized that the APC cannot guarantee the dividends of Democracy. This victory will serve as a moral booster to the PDP in the forthcoming 2023 general polls.
INEC has again proven itself strong in protecting democracy and the rule of law in Nigeria for conducting a free and fair elections despite being pressured by the ruling party.

I want to state that the PDP is one family irrespective of our differences, “united we stand and divided we fall”. It is time to settle our grievances, put the house in order, so as to unseat the ruling party in 2023.
