Remember how Bendelnews reported a few days ago that the tenacious and dedicated fan became a trending topic online as he started cycling from Benue to Lagos to see his hero, Davido.
In response, Davido asked the young fan who was already traveling to see him to turn around and go back, explaining that he was not home at the time.
The young man refused to listen to Davido, saying that he won’t give up until he sees the musician and that he had a gift that he wants to give to the singer one on one.
However, singer Davido was compelled to persuade the rider to transmit his account number, go home, and wait for his return even though it is obvious that he is not yet ready to stop.
In a recent interview with Legit.ng, the young man at last revealed the odd explanation for his refusal of Davido’s cash.
The rider admitted that commencing the “risky” expedition was never motivated by money. He did, however, leave the option open for the singer to personally “bless” him if he so chose.
