Made-in-Nigeria helicopters ready for mass production – FG

The Federal Government is to begin the manufacturing of Made-in-Nigeria helicopters with experts already trained for mass production of the aircraft.

Executive Vice Chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI, Professor Mohammed Sani Haruna disclosed this on Friday in Abuja while briefing State House correspondents after a private meeting with the President Muhammadu Buhari.
Professor Haruna explained that he was in the Presidential Villa to brief the President on the activities of the agency and to present its financial report as requested by the President.

President Buhari had in 2021 approved that 1% of the Federation Allocation be given to NASENI to fund the Agency’s activities and engineering innovations.
Meanwhile, President Buhari has approved the sum of N24 billion for NASENI to execute a smart modular irrigation project.
