The convoy of RT. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, was on Thursday afternoon involved in an accident.
The auto crash happened along Osogbo-Ilesa road when a vehicle in the opposite side rammed into the convoy.
It was gathered that many persons sustained various degrees of injuries and have been hospitalized to the University of Osun Teaching Hospital and House of Assembly clinic for medical attention.
The accident triggered a gridlock on the Ilesa expressway as the damaged vehicles have caused a slight barrier to movement of vehicles on the major part of the road.
