On Wednesday, August 9, De Laurentiis informed the Napoli Ultras of this during a retreat before the team’s training in Abruzzo.
It follows De Laurentiis’ refusal of Al-Hilal’s hefty €130 million offer for the Super Eagles striker, who is now negotiating a new contract deal.
De Laurentiis was cited as saying, “I’m not selling Osimhen even for €200m,” by Calcio Napoli.
“And he is not going away,”
With an astounding 26 goals in only 32 games, Osimhen concluded the previous season as the league’s leading scorer. He also received the esteemed Golden Boot trophy, making him the first African player in league history to do so.
