The chiefs of security agencies briefed Soba, Birnin Gwari, and some other councils on the security challenges and assessed the outcomes of the efforts taken thus far to address the issues.

The conference was held in reaction to the increase in bandit assaults and kidnappings in Soba, Zaria, Birnin-Gwari, and some other parts of Kaduna, and it took place on Tuesday in private at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna State.

Representatives of the armed forces and paramilitary organizations were present, along with members of the state security council such as deputy governor Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, the emirs of Zazzau and Birnin-Gwari, ambassador Nuhu Bamalli, the director of state security services, and the state commissioner of police.
