Ex-Aston Villa captain, Agbonlahor names world best goalkeeper

Former Aston Villa striker, Gabriel Agbonlahor has picked his choice of the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.

According to the former England star, Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez is the world’s best goalkeeper.
Martinez helped his country, Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar earlier this month. He kept three clean sheets in the process.

Agbonlahor believes that no other can be better than the 30-year-old Argentinian who also made a series of saves during the final to ensure the South Americans lifted their third World Cup trophy.
Agbonlahor was asked on Amazon Prime if he thinks Martinez is one of the best goalkeepers in the English top-flight and the former Premier League striker said: “I think he’s the best goalkeeper in the world.

“I mean, some of the saves he made all through the tournament.
“He’s coming back as the best ‘keeper in the world.”
